Below, you shall find a form you'll have to fill out if you are interested in creating/running/managing your own chronicle role-play scenario. Simply copy and paste the following into its own thread here in the Chronicle Creation and Management board and fill out whatever information applies to your particular chronicle. If some areas of the forum are unimportant or don't exist for your particular role-play scenario, then you may leave them blank.
Once you have it posted, a forum staff member shall come along and will most likely just make the board for your role-play without any questions asked. However, if they see a problem, they may ask you to change a few things first. This is highly unlikely, as we allow you to do pretty much whatever you want here, but it does happen from time to time and you may negotiate with staff on the matter.
the form:
[blockquote]Title: Category: (what type of role-play is this. Canon, non-canon, wolf, stray dog, medieval fantasy, etc) General Theme: (the preface for your rp setting. ie- werewolves vs vampires, dark wolves vs light wolves, small town rp, etc) Description: (short, no more than a sentence or two, brief summary of the plot of the Chronicle which will appear in the board that will be created for it)
Humanoid Species: (list any and all human based species that are allowed as playable characters) Animal Species: (list any animal species that are allowed as playable characters)
Setting: (time period, location, and other environmental statistics about your Chronicle) Is Magic Allowed?: (yes/no)
Plot: (what you basically expect to happen during this Chronicle, generally speaking. A bit of back story, if you will.)
Characters: (list any and all playable characters to be involved. You may continue to add to this list as you accept more people into your Chronicle.) NPC's: (list any prevalent or otherwise extremely common/important NPC's, such as family or pack members)
Storyteller: (please include both the Storyteller's player name and the account they will be using as the "storyteller" account) Helpers: (please include both the Helper's player name and the account they will be using as the "Helper" account)
Players:
Chronicle Rules and Restrictions: ((list any rules, regulations, or other limits or specific restrictions you would like to put into place in your Chronicle. Remember that, in your Chronicle, people have to follow your rules or risk being "ejected" or kicked out.))
Chronicle Status: (open (open to the public to join), closed (active but no longer accepting new players/characters), completed (Chronicle story has been finished and no longer requires any attention), discontinued (self explanatory))[/blockquote]
This is actually optional to use. You may use whatever format suits your needs most, just be sure it includes:
- Your Chronicle's title and a short description to appear in the board that will be created by staff
- What section/category of SPACE you intended your role-play Chronicle to fall under
- Who is starting it/who resides as the main Storyteller
- The screennames/accounts of members who will be Helpers to the storyteller
- The names and biological information of all playable characters involved (and any prominent NPC's) with links to their bios (these may be added as people join your Chronicle)
- An accurate description of the setting and general plot
- A set of rules/guidelines/requirements arranged and set up by the storyteller (though these may also be posted and stickied in the Chronicle board as well).
Rules should include information regarding: minimum post length, whether or not wolf speak is allowed, the types of animals/characters/species allowed in the Chronicle, whether or not magical powers are permitted and to what extent, whether or not mature themes are allowed within the Chronicle's setting, whether or not cursing/cussing will be allowed, and any other extraneous rules the Stroyteller sees fit to include.
